The Director of Schools is a new role within the ETBI structure. The information booklet outlines the main roles associated with this position.
The Director of Schools will report to the General Secretary of ETBI and will be responsible for supporting ETBs in four principal areas of responsibility:
1. Leadership of teaching and learning
2. Governance and management
3. Workforce planning and performance management in schools
4. Co-ordination of the team which is within the responsibility of this Director
