Scoil Ghráinne Community National School is a relatively new school which was established in September 2008. The Community National Schools are a new model of primary schools which were established to answer the changing needs of Irish society. Scoil Ghráinne CNS is a multi-belief school which welcomes pupils of all faiths and none. The school is committed to a spirit of inclusion, equality and partnership in education. Currently the Community National Schools are under the Patronage of Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board.

Scoil Ghráinne CNS endeavours at all times to provide a happy, pleasant school atmosphere for the pupils where there is co-operation between parents, teachers and children. It is our mission that all three parties will work together to establish this positive school atmosphere. In a spirit of partnership in education, all parties seek to work cooperatively to develop a school which we are all proud of.

Scoil Ghráinne CNS is committed to a high standard of education where the child is central to the educational process. Every effort is made at all times with the co-operation of parents to help each child to reach his/her full potential. We believe that co-operation, courtesy and good manners are essential for an effective school and for the educational development of our pupils.

As a school community we are also very proud of our two ASD special needs units. These units host 6 pupils per unit and like all aspects of our school, as far as possible we want as much inclusion as possible for the pupils in our ASD units.

Scoil Ghráinne CNS is located in Phibblestown, Clonee, Dublin 15.
