Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Grange NS requires a school bus escort to accompany SEN children to and from school.
Employment is on a part time basis during school term time only. Bus escorts are not paid during school holidays.
The escort must have their own transport to and from the pick-up and drop-off point which is Grange NS.
Initial morning pick-up is usually between 7.30 and 8.15 and the final evening drop-off is between 3.30 and 4.30. This is subject to change based on the Bus Éireann sanctioned schedule/route.
The escort is responsible for the safety of the child on board the bus/taxi and will be required to provide pupil care needs including but not limited to assisting the child getting on and off the bus, securing appropriate seat belts, etc.
Appointment is subject to Garda vetting and appropriate references.
