An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St John the Baptist is an all boys, DEIS Plus school with classes ranging from 2nd to 6th class with 2 ASD classes.
This post is for a permanent SNA position.
The following skills and experience are desirable:
- Experience of working in a DEIS school
- Experience of SEN and working in an ASD class or school
Applicants must possess minimum qualifications according to Department guidelines.
Practical experience and familiarity supporting children with ASD is highly advantageous.
Applicants must show strong proficiency in managing complex behavioral needs.
Successful applicants will collaborate within an established team, demonstrating effective communication, collaborative skills, and self-direction.
Role offers are dependent on standard Garda vetting and Occupational Health checks.
Panel members seeking inclusion via panel rights should enclose their PF1 form.
These roles remain subject to SENO allocation review.
