An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Approximately 15 hours per week (Mon-Fri) Mornings 6.50 am to 8.20am and Afternoons 1.00 pm to 2.30 pm.
School bus escort will be required to travel to and from an agreed pick-up and drop-off point. Bus escort will accompany and supervise pupils on journey to and from school each day. Previous experience of working with pupils with Autism would be advantageous. Candidates should be able to work with parents and school staff in a professional manner. Panel of substitute escorts will be created from successful applicants. Garda Vetting and completion of 'Introduction to Children First' E learning programme will be required before appointment.
