Special Education Teacher — Fixed-Term Contract
11 hours per week
Scoil Mhuire College invites applications from suitably qualified teachers for a fixed-term teaching position in Special Educational Needs (SEN), comprising 11 hours per week.
Commencement date: 12th of October 2026
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our Additional Educational Needs team to support students’ learning, participation and progress. Relevant qualifications and/or experience in special education are desirable, together with a commitment to inclusive teaching and the ethos of Scoil Mhuire College.
Applicants must be registered with the Teaching Council and appropriately qualified for the position.
Appointment is subject to satisfactory references, Garda vetting and compliance with applicable statutory and child protection requirements. The successful candidate must provide a valid Statutory Declaration and complete the Form of Undertaking prior to taking up the position.
