Dublin & Dun Laoghaire Education and Training Board invites applications for School Bus Escort post in Mount Seskin Community College.
Candidates should have experience in working with children, have an understanding of special needs and be able to deal with parents and school staff in a professional way. First Aid training is essential, including care for students with epilepsy.
School Bus Escorts will be expected to travel to and from an agreed pick-up and drop-off point. In this case, the child is travelling from Greystones, Co. Wicklow to Mount Seskin CC in Jobstown. The hours of work are:
7 – 8:30am and 3:35 – 5:00pm Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri
7 – 8:30am and 12:35 – 3pm Wed
Hourly rate of pay is €15.98 during school term, which is 36 weeks per year. Bus Escorts will not be paid during school holidays.
Applicants must supply suitable character references in their CV. Garda Vetting is mandatory for all bus escorts.
