Cork ETB invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Administrative Deputy Principal Teacher of East Cork Community Special School under a Permanent Contract of Employment to take effect once the onboarding process has been finalised.
East Cork Community Special School is a Community Special School that will provide for the needs of students with autism and complex learning needs and for students with complex learning needs who require the support of a special school, up from the beginning of Primary school to eighteen years of age. The new school will be located on an interim basis in East Cork.
On application for the post, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
• Be fully registered with the Teaching Council under Route 1 (Primary), Route 4
(Other) or Route 2 (Post Primary) with the Teaching Council
• 5 years recognised teaching service, two of which must be in a recognised primary or post primary school within the Republic of Ireland.
• Significant experience with children who have a diagnosis of Autism/Autistic
Spectrum Disorders and/or Special Education Needs is desirable.
• A post-graduate qualification in Special Education is desirable.
