An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Scoil Fhionáin invites applications for the position of a 0.5 SNA post from highly dedicated candidates. We are therefore looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. The successful candidate needs to be enthusiastic and empathetic, can contribute to our team and work on their own initiative.
Candidates must be willing to undertake courses which relate to the needs of the children and the school. Experience of working with children with autism, intellectual disability, physical disability, emotional and behavioural difficulties is desirable.
Duties include working with children of all ages, assisting children with intimate care, accessing activities and supporting students with challenging behaviour and complex needs.

Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
