An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management of Gaelscoil Shlí Dála wishes to invite expressions of interest in a permanent vacancy, with initial duties in Early Intervention ASD class from teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Killaloe. The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
Probation
Experience of teaching in a similar sized co-educational school
Third Level postgraduate qualification or evidence of ongoing CPD in Special Education would be advantageous.
Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
Aistear, Literacy Lift-Off, IEP’s, Standardised Testing, Guided Reading, Running Records, IT for SEN, Team-Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy. Interests/skills/experience in PE/Sport are advantageous.
