An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of Gaelscoil na Cille welcomes applications for the job of Special Needs Assistant. This is a fixed term position for a year covering a career break.

Appointment will be subject to, but not limited to, satisfactory references and compliance with current Garda Vetting requirements.
Candidates must have experience working as a SNA in a classroom setting with students with a variety of needs - for e.g. Autism, ADHD, challenging behaviours and Complex Needs. Fluency In Irish is desirable but not essential. Candidates must work well as part of a team, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training/professional development.
Successful candidates will be expected to complete Croke Park hours throughout the year.
