An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of the Holy Family N.S initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 28th day of July, 2026, for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Catholic Diocese of Dublin.

The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 2nd day of August, 2026.
The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on this website to the 4th day of August 2026.

The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.

Holy Family National School is a co-educational, DEIS Band 1 primary school under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin. The school caters for pupils from Early Start to 6th Class and includes two Autism classes.

As a DEIS Band 1 school, teachers appointed to Holy Family National School will receive the additional allowance payable to teachers working in designated DEIS Band 1 schools.

Initial allocation will be as a Special Education teacher for this coming school year. Applicants should be flexible and willing to teach in all areas of the school, including mainstream classes and Autism classes, in accordance with the needs of the school.

Interviews are expected to take place on the week beginning August 24th.
