An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Kolbe Special School caters for pupils from 4 - 18 years with a severe and profound learning disability.There are currently 48 puipils enrolled. We have recently moved into our new school.
Kolbe Special School offers pupils the primary curriculum, Junior Cycle Level 1 and Senior Cycle Level 1. We are a DCU Changemakers school.
The successful candidates will work as a member of a team of 9 teachers, 32 SNAs, 2 Nurses, 16 Bus Escorts, Secretary and Caretaker. We also have a HSE team of a Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist and Psychologist. We have an Occupational Therapist through the in-school therapuy programme with the NCSE.
