An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Bus Escorts required for Stewarts School, Rosse Court, Lucan - approximately 15 hours per week (Mon – Fri) spread between the mornings and afternoons.
The role of the bus escort is to supervise children with special educational needs travelling to and from the school. The rate of pay is €15.98 per hour. In addition, holiday pay at a rate of 8% of hours worked is paid 3 times during the school year. Employment is during school term only from the end of August to mid July annually.
Vacancies on buses travelling in the Ballyfermot, Tallaght, Clondalkin and Lucan areas. Experience of working with children and an understanding of children with intellectual disability is desirable. Training will be provided as needed.
Appointment will be subject, but not limited to: satisfactory references and current vetting requirements. Department of Education guidelines apply.
