An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This is a fixed term position covering a Career Break for the 2026/2027 school year.
The success candidate may be assigned to a mainstream class or a special education teaching post. The final decision on assignment will be determined in line with the school's needs and priorities.
Applicants for this position must have a recognised Certificate in Religious Education.
The appointment will also be subject to but not limited to:
- Satisfactory references
- Teaching Council Registration
- Garda Vetting
- Occupational Health Screening.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
- Completion of Induction/ Droichead
- Experience of teaching in a multigrade setting
- Experience in Special Education Teaching
