An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of Scoil Chaoimhín Naofa initially advertised this permanent vacancy on www.staffroom.ie, on the 9th day of July, 2026 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Dublin. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 15th day of July, 2026. The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on www.staffroom.ie to the 17th day of July, 2026. The Board of Management of Scoil Chaoimhín Naofa, is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.

There are 2 permanent positions and a fixed term position.

All candidates should have an excellent knowledge of the curriculum and be committed to the ethos of a Catholic school. All candidates should be registered with the teaching council.
