An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This role involves ensuring safe transport of children to and from school each day.
Bus Route: Athenry - Corofin and surrounding area
Arrangements can be made with bus driver to collect you from the school or on Driver's bus route to school if more convenient.
Experience Required: Experience of working with children with Special Needs preferable, but not essential. Must be kind, caring, patient and work well with children.
Responsibilities: Accompany/supervise children on their journey to and from school. Ensure children's safety while on the bus and ensure a safe handover with school staff/ parents.
Hours of work (depending on pick up point for Bus Escort):
Morning: Approx. 8:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.
Afternoons: Approx. 1:15p.m - 2:15p.m
Salary: €15.98 per hour (Paid monthly)
Holiday hours paid at rate of 8% of hours worked.
Holiday pay payable at Christmas, Easter and at beginning of Summer holidays.
Bank Holidays during school term will be paid.
Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting requirements, occupational health check and verification of references. Please include at least one current work reference and one character reference and their contact details with your CV.
Applicants must have a good command of the English language.
