An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Cloverhill NS has two fixed-term positions for the upcoming academic school year 2026-27. The first teaching post is in the ASD classroom and the following experience and qualifications are highly desirable:
• Experience of teaching children in a Special Class setting
• Knowledge and experience of Autism, ADHD, PDA and Behaviours of Concern
• Interest and experience in the integration of children into mainstream classes
The second post is for a principal release cluster teacher covering PR days in five schools in the Roscommon/Longford area to include Clondra, Curraghboy, Fuerty, Athleague and Cloverhill national schools.
In order to be eligible for appointment, candidates must hold a recognised qualification in Primary Education, satisfactory references, a certificate to teach Religion, Garda Vetting, Teaching Council registration and Occupational Health screening.
Candidates must be flexible, a good communicator and skilled in working as part of a school team. Please indicate on the application which vacancy is being applied for; vacancy 1, vacancy 2 or both.
Interviews are envisaged to take place during the week of August 4th-7th.
