Stewarts School is a special school catering for students with moderate and severe and intellectual disability aged 5 -18 years. All students have complex needs and a significant number of students are autistic. The students in the post-primary section engage in Junior/Senior Cycle Level 1 Programmes.
The school has been specifically developed to meet the complex learning needs of its community and features purpose-built classrooms, sensory areas, dedicated meeting rooms, Home Economics and Music rooms, PE hall, library, outdoor play areas and a student canteen area.
The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. CPD and training will be provided as needed.
The school participates in the Droichead Programme. Appropriate registration with the Teaching council is necessary.
