Role Description:
Bus escort required to accompany 6 pupils from our new special class for autistic pupils on school transport to and from their homes and Knockbridge NS each day.
Approx 4 hours daily, 5 days per week during term time only (approx 20 hours per week - subject to change).
2 hrs in the morning
2 hrs in the afternoon
Bus escort must ensure pupil safety and wellbeing while on board including:
*Assisting children getting on and off the bus.
*Securing seat belts and other safety equipment.
*Supporting care needs as required.
*Complete relevant training for any medical needs.
Requirements:
*Relevant experience working with children is highly desirable.
*Garda vetting and suitable references are essential.
