Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Vacancies include 1 post and the other is 0.5 post. Applicants holding a Panel Form 1 (PF1) should clearly state this and supply a copy of the form as part of their application.
As per all positions in schools, SNA's can be allocated to any SNA role in the school at any time at the discretion of the school principal.
The successful candidates may work with children:
A) who require support across a range of learning, sensory difficulties and/or intimate care needs.
B) with Autism and complex needs.
Experience working with pupils with Autism and emotional, behavioural and communication difficulties advantageous.
Appointment is subject to vetting requirements, Occupational Health screening and TUSLA Child Safeguarding Training.
These positions are subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review.
It is a requirement to hold a valid Statutory Declaration and to complete the Form of Undertaking for this position upon offer of employment.
