An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Teaching Vacancies – 2026/2027 School Year
Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers for the following teaching vacancies for the 2026/2027 school year:
One Fixed-Term Mainstream Teaching Post.
Specified-Purpose Teaching Posts commencing from September 2026, with contract durations ranging from four months to the end of the 2026/2027 school year.
One Fixed-Term EAL Teaching Post, commencing in September 2026, subject to confirmation of the school's full-year EAL allocation following the Department of Education staffing review on 30 September 2026.
Appointments will be made in accordance with Department of Education regulations and are subject to the relevant staffing allocations and approved leave.
The successful candidates must be registered with the Teaching Council and satisfy current Garda Vetting requirements.
Shortlisting may apply. Only those shortlisted for interview will be contacted. Canvassing will disqualify.
