An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Both posts are for the duration of the school year 2026 / 2027
You may be asked to teach in a Multi-grade, SET or Special class position.
This post is subject to current vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening, Teaching Council registration and satisfactory references
Applicants should have;
• a comprehensive knowledge and clear understanding of the application of the Continuum of Support in primary schools.
• evidence of familiarity and understanding of the diverse needs of pupils in schools (ASD, Down Syndrome, Speech & Language, literacy, numeracy, social emotional, EAL, etc.) and the application of best practices in teaching, learning and assessment.
• a commitment to teamwork, the promotion of student voice, working in partnership with parents and the fostering of student wellbeing and a positive school culture.
