An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

A high standard of presentation is expected in the SAF & it must be typed.
Final approval is subject to satisfactory references, current Garda vetting requirements, satisfactory pre-employment medical screening via OHS & the Patron's approval.
As the appointed SNA will work, initially, in an Autism class, experience of working in such a setting is desirable.
Applicants should have a minimum QQI level 5 SNA qualification.
