An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This post is for a mainstream class teaching position (Second, Third and Fourth Class) in a mainstream primary school with special classes.

The successful candidate will:
* demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to contributing positively to the life of the school;
* demonstrate knowledge and understanding of supporting pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development;
* demonstrate a commitment to inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming teaching and learning practices;
* demonstrate the ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with pupils, parents/guardians and colleagues.

The following experience is desirable but not essential:
* teaching in a mainstream primary school; and
* supporting the inclusion of pupils attending special classes within a mainstream school setting.
