An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Corballa NS invites applications for a School Transport Bus Escort to support the safe transport of a pupil to and from school.
Experience Required: Experience of working with children with additional needs preferable, but not essential. Candidate must be kind, caring, patient and work well with children.
Responsibilities: Accompany/supervise pupil on their journey to and from school. Ensure child’s safety while on the bus and ensure a safe handover with school staff/ parents.
Working Monday to Friday, term-time only. Approximate working hours are:
Morning: 8.45 a.m. – 9.45 a.m.
Afternoon: 3.05 p.m. – 3.45 p.m.
Please note that these times may vary depending on transport arrangements.
Please include at least two current referees and their contact details when applying for this position. Bus Escorts are subject to Garda Vetting.
The successful applicant must also:
Complete the Tusla Children First E-Learning Programme.
Hold a valid Statutory Declaration.
Complete the required Form of Undertaking upon offer of employment.
