Scoil Chormaic Special School invites applications from qualified enthusiastic, dedicated, and compassionate primary trained teachers for three fixed-term teaching positions commencing in the upcoming school year.
Located on Golden Road in Cashel, Co Tipperary
Scoil Chormaic provides education and support for 211 students aged 3 to 18 years with specific special educational needs, including intellectual disabilities and autism. Our school offers programmes from preschool through to post-primary level in a caring, inclusive, and supportive environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The available positions are:
Autism Spectrum (AS) Primary Section:
- Junior Infants Class
- First Class Group
Mild General Learning Disability (MGLD) Primary Section:
- Second/Third Class Group
Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education, collaboration, and supporting the diverse needs of learners in a special school setting. Experience in special education and knowledge of evidence-based approaches for students with autism and intellectual disabilities will be an advantage.
