An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Mhuire Jnr is a Catholic Primary School committed to fostering a warm, inclusive and child-centred learning environment. Ideal applicants will be adaptable, flexible, and experienced in supporting children with a diverse range of special educational and care needs in both the special class and mainstream setting.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team are essential.
A QQI Level 6 Special Needs Assistant qualification is desirable, and the successful candidate should demonstrate a commitment to undertaking further relevant professional development and training.
