Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated primary teachers to join our supply panel across 11 schools within a 5 km radius. This role involves providing substitute cover in Junior and Senior classes, as well as in Learning Support settings. As these are supply panel positions candidate should highlight in their letter a willingness to be flexible and examples of flexibility and reliability in previous positions.
Each of the schools has Autism Classes (ASD units) attached, and we are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate a willingness and interest in working within these classes. Experience in special education is an advantage but not essential — a positive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education are key.
Desirable:
• Previous experience in ASD settings or Learning Support
• Understanding of differentiated teaching approaches
• Team-oriented and collaborative attitude
