Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Applications are invited for 2 permanent Full day SNA posts and a fixed term .66 hours position. Applications are also sought for a Specific purpose full hours substitute position which will last until January 2027.
The school will have 2 Autism classes from September 2026 and successful candidates may be placed in an Autism class setting either immediately or as needs arise.
Relevant experience working in an Autism class, assisting children with medical needs and with intimate care needs is desirable.
Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be flexible and willing to work under the direction of class teachers and school Principal. The successful candidate will be expected to respect the confidentiality of students at all times.
Applicants must satisfy all DE appointment criteria.
