School Transport Bus Escort – Autism Class
Scoil Chríost Rí, Enniscrone invites applications for a School Transport Bus Escort to support the safe transport of pupils to and from school.
As Scoil Chríost Rí prepares to open a new Autism Class, we are seeking a caring, reliable and responsible individual who is committed to ensuring the safety, wellbeing and comfort of pupils during their journey to and from school each day.
The successful applicant will be collected by the school transport driver from Scoil Chríost Rí (Eircode: F26 EW67) at the beginning of each journey.
Approximate working hours are:
* Morning: 7.45 a.m. – 9.10 a.m.
* Afternoon: 1.30 p.m. – 3.15 p.m.
Please note that these times are approximate and may vary depending on transport arrangements.

Key responsibilities include:
* Accompanying and supervising pupils during their journey to and from school.
* Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils while travelling on the school bus.
* Assisting pupils, where required, when boarding and disembarking the bus.
* Ensuring the safe handover of pupils to school staff in the morning and to parents/guardians or nominated adults in the afternoon.
* Promoting a calm, safe and positive environment throughout each journey.
Appointment is subject to satisfactory references and current Garda Vetting requirements.
The successful applicant must also:
* Complete the Tusla Children First E-Learning Programme.
* Hold a valid Statutory Declaration.
* Complete the required Form of Undertaking upon offer of employment.
