The duties of this post involve supporting the care needs of pupils with additional needs. The successful candidates will be expected to respect the dignity and confidentiality of the pupils and will be expected to avail of further training as required. The role may involve working across our school with several children who need a range of different kinds of support. Knowledge and experience of working with pupils with medical needs such as Diabetes and Epilepsy would be desirable. Relevant training and experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour would also be an advantage.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel, with Supplementary Panel rights, must furnish a completed PF1 form.
The appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements, confirmation of qualifications, and occupational health screening.
