An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Star of the Sea BNS is seeking a qualified teacher to teach a mainstream class throughout the 2026/2027 school year.
Star of the Sea is an inclusive, vertically integrated Catholic school for boys.

Applicants should note that it may be necessary to assign members of the teaching class to a variety of roles based on the needs of the school. All members of the school staff must be willing to teach in the mainstream, SET and special class setting.

Applicants should use the standard application form, on which they should clearly set out their Teaching Council registration status and Droichead status (Star of the Sea is a Droichead school).
