An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This vacancy is for 3 SNA's.
2 SNA's will be recruited on a fixed term full time SNA post to cover two internal Job Share arrangements for the 2025-2026 school year. These positions will back fill SNA positions made available due to internal job share arrangements.
There is a maternity cover SNA post available from September 26.

This SNA roles are required for both our special Le Chéile ASD classes and mainstream.
The following competences and experience are desirable:
- Knowledge and experience of working with children with ASD, challenging behaviour and/or other complex needs.
-Experience with non verbal communication systems like PECS.
-Experience of working with children with toileting care needs.
-Child protection training and certification required.
- Candidates must be able to work within a team, and display a strong work ethic and be flexible.
-Applicants must have the relevant qualifications as per
Departments of Education requirements.
The successful candidate will be expected to respect the confidentiality of the students and school matters at all times and to respect and uphold the school ethos.
Appointment is subject to satisfactory references, current Garda vetting requirements and Patron approval.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Interviews scheduled for middle of July. Date to be confirmed.
Staff training day scheduled for August 31st. School reopens on August 1st 2026.
