An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We have three full time SNA positions available for next year.
The successful candidates may be required to work in a special class with children:
A) who require support across a range of learning, sensory difficulties and/or intimate care toileting needs.
B) with Autism and complex needs
C) who are non- verbal
D) who display challenging behaviour.
Experience working with pupils with Autism and emotional, behavioural and communication difficulties is advantageous.
Appointment is subject to vetting requirements, Occupational Health screening and TUSLA Child Safeguarding Training.
