An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Brackloon NS invites applications from enthusiastic, committed and flexible teachers for a one-year fixed-term teaching position commencing in August 2026.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive educational practice and to supporting the diverse learning needs of all pupils. A willingness to contribute positively to the wider life of the school community is essential.

Experience of working in a collaborative environment, including engagement with colleagues, parents and external agencies where appropriate, would be desirable.

The ability to enhance the school’s extracurricular and co-curricular provision, particularly in areas such as music, sport and the arts, would be an advantage.

A commitment to promoting pupil wellbeing, creativity and a positive learning environment is highly valued.
