St. Fiachra's Senior National School is a co-educational senior national school located in Beaumont, Dublin 5. Our school has a Catholic ethos and operates under the patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin.
The vacancy is for an administrative principal teacher. The successful candidate must be fully registered with the Teaching Council, be Garda vetted and appropriately qualified.
The successful candidate should be a person capable of leading the school community in a time of considerable curricular change.
The roles and responsibilities of the post are outlined in the four domains of Leadership and Management DES Circular 0044/2019 and relate to Leading Teaching and Learning, Managing the Organisation, Leading School Development and Developing Leadership Capacity.
The successful candidate will be expected to continue to promote the school's excellence in learning, sporting and cultural achievement. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, proven to lead policy development and implementation, have strong organisational skills and be able to communicate and work productively with the wider school community. It is a requirement to hold a valid Statutory Declaration and to complete the Form of Undertaking for this position upon offer of employment.
