An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We welcome applications from SNAs who are excited to work with children with additional needs in our second Autism Class.
There are two vacancies available: one is for Infant Hours (0.83) and the other is a full-time position.
The successful candidates will be required to work with children:
A) who require support across a range of learning, sensory difficulties and/or intimate care toileting needs
B) with Autism and complex needs
C) who are non-speaking
D) who may display challenging behaviour
Candidates must be able to work well within a team, display a strong work ethic, be adaptable and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
The successful candidates will be expected to respect the confidentiality of all of the students at all times and to respect and uphold the school’s Catholic ethos.
