Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is desirable.
This appointment is subject to the approval of the Department of Education, the National Council for Special Education (NCSE), and the Board of Management of Presentation Secondary School, Ballyphehane.
All Special Needs Assistant (SNA) posts are subject to annual review by the Department of Education and the NCSE.
Shortlisting may apply, and only shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview. Interviews will be arranged as soon as possible following the closing date.
The successful candidate will be required to attend the school's induction programme on Tuesday, 25 August 2026. The school reopens to staff on Wednesday, 26 August 2026.
It is a requirement to hold a valid Statutory Declaration and to complete the Form of Undertaking for this position upon offer of employment.
