Pelletstown ETNS is advertising 1 Standard 0.5 Additional Needs Assistant vacancy.
This is a 0.5 (8:30am - 11:30am) Additional Needs Assistant (ANA) standard post. The appointment is subject to Department of Education Circular 0049/2026 and the NCSE ANA allocation for the school year. The post is further subject to the ANA Redeployment Scheme (Circular 0022/2026), Garda vetting, satisfactory references, and standard Department of Education recruitment procedures. Duties will be in line with NCSE guidelines for ANA roles and under the direction of the principal and class teachers.
Knowledge of supporting children with Autism is essential. Experience of working in an autism class is desirable, along with knowledge of AAC devices, Behaviours of Concern guidelines, the Relate guidelines and the Autism good practice guidelines.
