An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Durrow NS are opening our second special class.
We have two permanent positions - both are 0.83 ( Junior Day Hours )
We also have a full time Fixed Term SNA contract for the 2026-2027 school year only (Full Day)
Applicants should have qualifications as per Department of Education guidelines.
Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
The positions will involve working in a special class for children with autism, therefore experience in such a setting would be highly desirable.
Garda vetting, Statutory Declaration, and Medical Fitness to Work requirements will apply.
