Additional Information:
The successful candidates will primarily support students in a special class for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), assisting them to access the curriculum, develop independence, and participate fully in school life.
Applicants must have experience working in an ASD setting. A strong understanding of the educational, social, communication, sensory, and behavioural needs of students with ASD, along with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, is essential.
Experience in a post-primary setting, promoting student independence, and knowledge of evidence-based ASD interventions are desirable. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with teachers, the SEN team, school management, parents/guardians, and relevant external agencies to support students' wellbeing and development.
