An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We have a teaching position vacancy in one of our classes for children with autism. This position is for 4 days a week for the duration of the maternity leave. It is an ideal opportunity to gain experience in an autism class setting. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join the team. The pupil : teacher ratio in the class is 6:1. Two full time ANAs/SNAs also work in the class.
Blessington Educate Together N.S. is a small school idyllically situated on the outskirts of Blessington town in west Wicklow; 20 minutes from Dublin and 20 minutes from Naas. It has four mainstream classes and two classes for children with autism. We are a warm and welcoming school community.
