An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Naas Community National School opened in September 2010. The school will have 15 mainstream classes, 7 full time SET teaching staff and 7 SNAs in September 2026. 1 permanent position on full time hours.
1 Fixed-term position on full time hours will cover a jobshare arrangement for one year.
