The Board of Management of Old Bawn Community School invites applications for the position of Special Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Old Bawn Community School is a Microsoft Showcase School, offering a modern, technology-enhanced learning environment where all students have access to their own devices. Competence in Microsoft Office 365 is desirable, and ongoing professional learning and upskilling are supported.
A strong commitment to inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs is essential. A recognised qualification in Special Education would be an advantage. The successful candidate will join a highly effective and collaborative core AEN team dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for students.
This position is subject to the sanction of the Department of Education and Skills and to the post not being required for the 2026 redeployment process.
