An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Lucan East ETNS is a dynamic school with a committed staff. We seek to recruit innovative teachers who bring energy and enthusiasm to their practice and who want to make a difference.

We are recruiting for 2 fixed term position and 2 full year substitute positions for the 2026/27 school year. Applicants should clearly indicate in their letter of application if they wish to be considered for the fixed term, substitute or both position types.

Successful candidates may be assigned to mainstream or support teaching positions and may spend some time in our special classes - the final decision on assignment will be determined in line with school needs and priorities.

Successful candidates will require up to date Garda vetting and Statutory Declaration and be registered with the Teaching Council before the start of the school year. They may also work
