About Our School
Leixlip Educate Together National School is a recently established primary school. We first opened our doors to eleven Junior Infants in 2019. Since then, we have grown steadily and, by September 2026, we expect to have approximately 200 pupils from Junior Infants to Sixth Class.
We are a vibrant, inclusive, creative and child-centred school with a strong focus on wellbeing.
We are currently seeking four fixed-term teachers who are enthusiastic about the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and evolving school community. We are looking for teachers who will be excited to join a developing school and who are eager to contribute to its continued growth and success.
We welcome applications from committed and caring professionals who demonstrate leadership, adaptability, positivity, initiative and creativity. A genuine understanding of, and commitment to the Educate Together ethos is essential.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who bring a range of interests and talents to their work and who value inclusive, child-centred approaches to teaching and learning.
The successful candidates will join a dedicated, supportive and collaborative team of 15 teachers and 8 Additional Needs Assistants (ANAs), many of whom have joined in recent years as our school has grown.

2 fixed-term posts arising from job-share arrangements
1 full-time fixed-term post in EAL (English as an Additional Language)
Note about EAL post
The EAL post is provisionally sanctioned until 24th October 2025. This post may be substantiated or suppressed by the Department of Education depending on whether the school meets the projected enrolment by 30th September 2026.
If the enrolment figure is achieved, the EAL post will remain fixed-term for the remainder of the school year.
All other posts are for the duration of the school year.
