Portlaoise ETNS is a vibrant school of 19 Mainstream classes and 2 Autism classes. We are passionate about the Educate Together ethos. Our school contributes positively to the local community and our staff lead the way in curricular and extra-curricular provision.
New fixed-term vacancies have arisen in our school. We are advertising for mainstream class teachers but we also have a vacancy on our SET team so successful applicants will be expected to work across the mainstream class, autism class, and SET settings as required. These fixed-term positions include two until the end of October with the expectation they will extend for the full year.
Commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs is essential.
Appointment will be subject to Teaching Council registration, current garda vetting requirements, Occupational Health screening and satisfactory references. Please apply for the position by 4.30pm on the closing date of 22nd June 2026. Interviews will take place during the week of Monday 29th June.
