An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management invites applications for two maternity leave contracts in Caherea National School. One position will be as mainstream class teacher in a multi-grade setting and the other will be in SET. One position will also take on the role of Acting Deputy Principal.
It is desirable that candidates should have significant experience in mainstream teaching. Prior teaching experience in a multi-grade classroom and an interest in sport are advantageous.
Appointment is subject to, but not limited to, evidence of qualifications, satisfactory references, current and continued registration with the Teaching Council, current Garda vetting and OHS requirements. Applicants must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education.
