This post will require the successful candidate to teach both English and History to Higher Leaving Cert level and also be able to work within our SEN department including our Special Classes for students with Autism. Thus experience of working with students with Autism is desirable.
Newtown School is a coeducational Boarding and Day school guided by a Quaker ethos. The school has a wide range of extracurricular activities and an ability to contribute to this area is also desirable. Accommodation on site may also be available for a suitable candidate who is willing to work as part of the residential staff team living and working with the boarding students.
